The main house in the lodge features a kitchen, dining space, game area, a bar, and a pair of open fire pits. The guests of the facility reside in private cabanas along the river. All the cabanas are equipped with a sitting area, a bed/beds, a bathroom and allow glimpses of the encompassing cloud forest. The lodge, garden and cabanas occupy two and a half acre area of the reserve while the remaining space is all open to nature.
The entire lodge is built and run sustainably. The owners used locally sourced materials during the construction process of the cabanas. Lighting systems at the main lodge consist of two energy-efficient solar panels, kerosene lanterns and candles, while the cabanas are powered by a micro hydro electrical system. The garden of the reserve is hand-worked and removes chances of tractor use. The debris of the kitchen is composted and reclaimed in the garden. In addition, the reserve comprises a spring which supplies fresh water to the lodge and cabanas phasing out pump requirements.
