Architect Ben Moore, working with architect Bruce McMillan, Manhattan, is kept by the city to help in the restoration and renovation process of the pool.
The bathhouse renovation project was initially not a part of the estimate of the swimming pool. However, an architect working with historical renovation and restoration has given the plans to the city commission to review. The commission has agreed to take the request into consideration.
Moore feels that the project is good and it can fit the style of how the bath house was originally built as part of a works progress administration project dating back to the 1930s.
