Demolishing five 1960s blocks of flats on the Cooper’s Road Estate in Southwark, the project is the final phase of a major urban regeneration project. The scheme will of mixed tenure with 35% of the dwellings allocated to private homes and the other 65% to affordable homes. Of these, 11 will be designated affordable rent for local people and 20 as shared ownership.

A total of 47 homes will be constructed including four-bedroom houses, three-bedroom maisonettes and flats, and one- and two-bedroom flats.

Work is expected to start in the early summer of 2013 and will take 68 weeks to complete.
