In order to support ‘improve not move’ mindset of the modern day home dweller by maximising their living space, Granite Transformations supplied the Black Star worktop material and Brillante ‘mosaics on a mattress’ splashbacks for the new breakfast bar and kitchen units of the home. The Black Star worktop material exhibits a deep black recycled glass finish with fragments of mirror fleck that sparkle under halogen lighting.
Huge extensions at the side and rear of the home have been added, which has virtually doubled its size and added substantially to the value. The kitchen has been brought through into the rear extension, creating a huge open plan living space with bi-fold glazed patio doors and a large roof light allowing massive amounts of natural daylight.
The open plan kitchen-diner is zoned by a large breakfast bar, which divides the living space. It features the diamond-polished black worktops, which complements the extensive glass mosaic splashbacks, plain white kitchen units, and black glazed appliances.
During the domestic makeover, Granite Transformations carried out the installation work and laid the mosaic tiles, all within a single day. The composite glass surfaces, solar roof panels, and eco-friendly underfloor heating highlights the green elements of the project.
