The firm has been chosen for the project as part of the Hardin Construction design-build team. The project will involve upgrades to all the public areas of the main terminal. Further, new video walls and dynamic signs will be installed throughout the terminal and airside facilities following the facelift.
There will be creation of a new United Service Organizations facility as part of the project. The revamped facility will also feature new tourism kiosks along with other improvements to facilitate travellers. The restrooms of the facility too, will receive an overhaul.
The company will coordinate with the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority for maintenance of the operational capacity of the terminal during revamp work.
