The project is known as PPNNCC and will be located in the centre of Riyadh on the current King Fahad Medical City campus. The project involves construction of new medical centres, which will be integrated with existing medical facilities.
The project involves development of a 11-storey National Neurosciences Institute, an 11-storey comprehensive cancer centre, a three-storey cardiac centre, a seven-storey laboratories and office building and a two-level underground car park.
The company in total will develop a 234,000 square metre health campus, which will also include a four-storey tall central services building and a 320m long services tunnel. Under an exclusive contract, HLG will also build a Proton Lab for the proposed health campus.
The project will provide 510 hospital beds, and will offer comprehensive services for oncology and cardiology among other services. Staged in three phases, construction work on the project will begin later in 2012 and will be completed in a span of three years.
