Featuring 15 beds, the Short-Term Orthopedic Unit will provide rehabilitation in a comfortable environment. It features spacious private rooms and semi-private rooms, each with a flat screen TV, and a support staff of nurses and therapy personnel.
It will provide treatments such as hip or knee replacement, back and shoulder surgery, traumatic and fragile fractures, and pain management due to orthopedic injuries.
The new dedicated Short-Term Orthopedic Unit will open its doors to the patients on 11 June 2013.
