FASTrack Iskandar has also appointed Singaporean architecture firm RSP Architects as architect and town planner.

Located near Singapore’s Tuas Second Link, the multi-purpose integrated motorsports hub at Iskandar will feature a 4.5km Federation Internationale Automobile (FIA)-certified race track that will be ready by 2016. The track will feature a 1.5 kilometre go-kart track that is certified by Commission Internationale De Karting (CIK). It will be optimised with its natural 60m elevation differential by taking inputs from Tilke’s track at Nurburgring in Germany.

FASTrack Iskandar is expected to include retail, hotel and alfresco spaces with entertainment outlets apart from a lighted sprint and racing circuit for day and night racing, off road driving circuits, and dynamic driving schools.

The project is a 70/30 joint venture between Peter Lim’s FASTrack Iskandar and UEM Land Holdings Berhad. It will be executed in phases, and is expected to be completed in 2018 with an estimated budget of SGD1.4 billion.
