The Croatian Dream, being built by Profectus Grupa, is a 5000-hectare master-planned city. The city will have multiple hotels, a casino, two marinas, a business park, film studio, exhibition space, airport, university campus, hospital, theme park, sports arenas, recreation areas, museums, a vineyard, and five golf courses.
The first golf course that will be designed by Hills and Forrest will be placed on seaside parcel called Three Sisters, located 20km north of Dubrovnik.
CEO of Profectus Grupa, Vicenco Blagaic, said that though a significant portion of Croatian Dream’s plans remain in conceptual design, construction of Three Sisters course will commence in 2011.
Hills and Forrest said that the project is located along a elevated, rocky coastline, and so each hole will feature beautiful views of the water.
