Located at Northlake/Argyle, Texas, the Harvest is a 1,000 acre master-planned, mixed use development, which will include single-family homes for approximately 3000 families. The historical Faught House, which was set on the property for 130 years, will be restored for use as a community centre and gathering area for the residential development.

The construction will be developed in phases with the first phase consisting of 323 homes with a range of lot sizes. The new homes will offer an array of amenities like 12-acre Harvest Lake, community pools, hike and bike trails, amphitheatre, community farm, community centre, playgrounds, parks, event centre, practice fields, and more. Additional amenities like, event lawn and ice house will be included in the Harvest to bring the residents together.

Harvest will be developed in adherence to Hillwood’s five LiveSmart design principles like sense of community, technology, healthy living, environmental stewardship, and education and enrichment. In order to protect and enhance the site’s rural character as well as introduce smart design principles that ensure quality, low impact living, the Harvest will include a farm of its own, where green vegetables will be grown for the residents of the community.

Hillwood is partnering with Atmos, Verizon, Coserv, Environments for Living and Premier Communities to deliver the LiveSmart design.
