All the rooms of the facility will be equipped with ceiling fans, and flat-screen TVs following the makeover. The refurbished rooms will also incorporate pull-out sofa beds to facilitate overnight stay of the accompanying patient families, as well as upgraded window treatments to offer more natural light penetration.
There will be creation of a great room and kitchen to serve the families of patients, along with a kitchen fitted with latest amenities for patients and their near ones. The project will also lead to creation of a private kitchen and gathering zone for staff members of the facility. In addition, the nurses station will undergo an overhaul to boost communication between family members and staff.
Bulk of the project has been financed through contributions from private enterprises.
