Located at Valparaiso, which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its historical importance, the Hotel Palacio Astoreca features an interior, which represents the 1920s-era Victorian mansion with intricate details and ornamental decor.

The renovated hotel features 23 luxe guest rooms, a spa and a gourmet restaurant Alegre Restaurant, a Wine Cava, a library with an extensive multilingual collection, and a piano bar lounge, as well as original art by contemporary painters and art pieces by local artists.

The hotel features individually sized rooms, which are decorated and furnished with antiques from the Santiago and Valparaiso region, which have been revamped with modern fabrics. The rooms feature artistically made bed frames by artist Sebastian Yrarrázaval. To create a modern aesthetic, the rooms feature original parquet floors, hand-painted ceramic tiles, and stylish wallpaper imported from Europe that contrasts with handcrafted pillows, rugs and blankets weaved by Andean artisans.

Built of dark slate, the sophisticated spa in the hotel features a steam bath, heated indoor pool, massage, and an indoor wood-burning hot tub backed by a two-storied wall of lush hanging ivy.
