The Kiln is the latest addition to Hoult’s Yard, the former industrial estate being transformed into a flexible office complex. The new workspace is designed by UK architect Howarth Litchfield.
The Kiln is a 22,000 square feet office addition with six ground floors and 16 first floor offices in 450 to 5,000 square feet spaces.
The Kiln features infra-red activated lighting, cat6 structured cabling, underfloor heating and double-height entrance lobby with lift to first floor offices.
The facility has also received ‘Very Good’ BREEAM environmental impact rating.
Hoults Yard was built for the Tyneside pottery Malings. Hoult family acquired the business and used the space for storage and removals until 1983.
