The award-winning architecture and design studio, Proctor & Shaw, has completed the full interior renovation of this apartment in Marylebone, London. Throughout the apartment, the 5-metre-long solid Douglas floor planks invites nature into the space. Additionally the walls are covered with Douglas interior lists, which accentuates a sense of depth and dimension to the space. The soft, natural grain and character of the wood gives the floor and walls a subtle texture and make the space come alive.

Creativity, design and wood come together
The 5-metre-long solid Douglas floor planks meet the vertical interior lists, and the seamless transition emphasises a sense of height and depth to the space and structure.
As another design feature, all storage and service requirements are cleverly hidden in the wall, including kitchen appliances and hanging cupboards. Flush finished frameless doors and discreet machined handles are concealed in the timber profiles adding a sense of craft and delight to the touch for its residents.
