The multi-use indoor arena serves as home to the Buffalo Sabres who will provide funding for the project. The new locker room will be designed by New York-based Cannon Design. The project will expand the facility’s locker room by 76% from the existing 8,644 square feet to 15,220 square feet. Expansion of the locker room will make room for additional office and work out area as well as expanded video rooms.
The visiting player’s locker rooms will expand by 8.6% 3,511 square feet. Other features of the project include construction of a new post-game interview room, new dining and training facilities, and expansion of the lounge dedicated for the players.
