Sprawling over 17-acres site in the I-88 Tech Corridor at 2000 Clearwater Drive in Oak Brook, the pipeline project will claim an area of 13,000 square feet, which will be divided across four-levels of the new headquarters.
Designed to be a LEED Gold-certified office building, the new four-storey HUBG headquarters will incorporate several sustainable practices, both during construction and operation. The sustainable features of the building will include high-efficiency HVAC, energy-efficient lighting controls and storm water harvesting system. The headquarters will also feature natural habitat landscaping, ponds and walking trails.
The new headquarters will offer space for more than 500 employees of the company who will be migrated from HUBG’s Downers Grove office. Construction on the scheme will be undertaken by Morgan / Harbour Construction. The project is scheduled for completion in late 2013.
