The school is seeking permission to construct two portable classrooms, each of 1000 square feet. The classroom, which is a temporary building installed on the grounds of the school with provision for light and heat being attached to the main building, will accommodate up to 30 students.
The proposal came as a result of the growing need to accommodate the growing student enrollment. According to media reports, Gaylen Smyer, the school district superintendent of Cassia County requested the city leaders to waive the building permit fees for the new classrooms.
