My Triangulation Series project explores the relationships and interactions of faceted triangular surfaces in the creation of beautiful objects, following the principles of the Digital Lab.

The produced objects are selected from a range of hundreds of experimental chairs. These objects are generated in an evolutionary way with families of objects sharing parents, grandparents and relatives. This creates a family tree of objects, with characteristics of different elements following through the family line, much like DNA.

The Digital Lab offers the possibility to create bespoke, personalised chairs by taking key measurements from the customer.

Using high-end materials such as titanium and stainless steel, made achievable by advanced digital fabrication processes, this would result in a chair which is precise and comfortable.
