Designer: Factory Design
Project: James Bond Design Studio
As a product design practice working on planes, trains and automobiles, Factory Design has always relished a challenge. As a bit of fun, the designers set themselves a project to design a studio fit for James Bond.
‘We would love to have a design studio that on the one hand passes conservation and planning regulations for the very smartest West London stucco villa, while the back features eye-watering modernism with more fossil fuel-hungry toys than you could shake a stick at… all carbon off-set, naturally,’ says director Peter Tennent.
