Renovations include the installation of new heating, cooling and security systems, as well as more efficient lighting and other improvements.
Children who attend Thomas D. Gregg School 15 are being housed at T.C. Steele School 98 at 3698 Dubarry Road. Students at James A. Garfield School 31 are attending Margaret McFarland Middle School at 3200 E. Raymond St. Youngsters at Eliza A. Blaker School 55 are learning at Francis Bellamy School 102 at 9501 E. 36th Pl. And children attending Anna Brochhausen School 88 are now located at Susan Roll Leach School 68 at 2107 N. Riley Ave.
Renovation will be completed by the middle of 2010. Moving the students from the school was done to make the project more efficient and due to safety reasons. Students would be attending schools 15, 31, 55 and 88 by end of 2010.
