A wide range of entries were received for this year’s Lighting Show awards with the judges including winners from the 2010 Student Lighting Design Awards.
The Jezza in-store display unit from Endon Lighting was the winner for the overall design that enabled 60 products to be lit and displayed in a footprint of just one square metre. It allowed individual switching through remote controls and installation of new products by clipping in a replacement panel.
Endon Lighting represents four major sectors of the market: Bathroom, Outdoor Energy Efficient, Kitchen /display and spotlight categories. The eye catching, fully mobile stand design uses contemporary colours to differentiate each sector.
Other winners saw a simple glass table lamp in vibrant colours from Pacific Lifestyle Ltd, a sustainable steamed wood pendant from new exhibitor Tom Raffield and a high output LED downlight from Illuma Lighting.
The awards were sponsored by the Lighting Association, Total Lighting Magazine and UBM Media. The Interiors Show was held from 23-26 January at Birmingham National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in the UK.
