The five-level building that houses senior school includes classrooms, science laboratories, an administration and student services area, an auditorium and function room. The second building, a four-level junior school, has 12 classrooms fitted with state-of-the-art facilities, a library and a computer room.
Peter Phillips, chairman of the Board of Trustees said that the buildings were the culmination of an exhaustive design and tendering process undertaken by the Board and provides expanded, cutting-edge facilities required to suit the needs of present education.
Flo Kearney, principal of Ipswich Girl’s Grammar School said that the new junior school will accommodate the rising population of the region.
