The renovation includes the full strip out, extensive internal and external remodelling, bespoke fit out and landscaping. The work also includes new gaming tables in the casino and updated mechanical and electrical services.

The existing single storied building has been stripped out to shell and core, removing mezzanine sales areas, windows and ground level floors, and modifying the number and location of entrances and exits.

In order to improve the building’s overall thermal performance, a new composite metal cladding roof has been overlaid onto the existing structure.

The primary elevations to the front and side of the building have also been enhanced with new composite metal and feature rainscreen cladding panels.

The internal refurbishment includes the extensive remodeling and installation of multiple split-level raised access floors and numerous feature plaster ceilings.

The space has been configured to create a wide range of casino facilities, including the main gaming floor, poker rooms, a lounge, dining room and associated commercial kitchen, and three bars, one of which is a show bar with a stage and acoustic isolation partitions.

Apart from that the renovation also includes the fit out of a meeting room, team member change and locker rooms and drinks cellars to service the three bars. Lighting scheme was upgraded as well along with bespoke joinery items with integral LED feature lighting.

The scene-setting have been custom-made for each of the hospitality areas. The mechanical and electrical installation also included CCTV and security systems, computerised systems for the gaming tables and extensive feature lighting, including LEDs, strip lights and pendants.

Delivered in a tight time frame, the refurbishment project took 20 weeks to complete.
