Said to be one of the largest London office fit out schemes in 2013, the project includes JLT’s 280,000 square feet fit out in St Botolph Building in Shoreditch.
The project includes the consolidation of four JLT offices and some 1,800 staff into one central location. According to the plan, JLT will occupy nine floors at the property, as well as the basement and roof space.
Incorporating open plan office accommodation, the scheme will provide client facing executive spaces, as well as a large dining area and catering facility. Apart from that an impressive new reception space will also be created at ground floor level.
Targeting a BREEAM Excellent environmental performance rating, the scheme will carry out a significant mechanical and electrical upgrade. Maximising the efficiencies and enhancing the fit out’s sustainable credentials, the scheme also includes the largest installation of highly efficient Zumbotel lighting systems and targeting a waste recycling figure of 90% for the scheme.
The London office fit out project is scheduled to take 34 weeks to complete.
