As most of you will know, the FX Awards celebrate the very best design talent from across the world in a glittering night of networking and partying that continues into the small hours – and then some, for the stalwarts among you!
With the categories for this year rewarding the best projects and products, as well as the special awards, as voted by you, the FX magazine reader. These very prestigious awards celebrate the very best of 2013 in breakthrough talent, product design, interior design, and the top of them all, outstanding lifetime contribution to design. Voting for these has closed, and our new panel of judges for 2013 have debated and disagreed at length to guarantee that the best entries win out in the end. All the judges are invited by the FX editor Theresa Dowling for their experience, integrity and strength of opinion – we want the best to win!
As serious as choosing the winners is, the awards-night party is far from it: the celebration will power through the night, with comedian Sean Lock as MC, good food and conversation, networking and, – a much-anticipated element of the FX Awards party night – dancing to an excellent covers band, this year the MadHen Band. With more than 1,200 industry professionals expected, you may need to bring along a few extra business cards to hand around!
