Sock lights are designed as quirky and elegant pendant lamps made from recycled socks, which are treated with eco resin derived from sunflowers. The designer has drawn inspiration from a fascination for the ethereal glow created from lighting through textile and the variation and intricacy of the diffusely illuminated weave patterns. The lights feature recycled sockets and new ultra energy-saving high brightness LED light sources, using remote phosphor technology. The sock pendant lights are available in two sizes of Regular (100mmØ x 350mm long) and Large (100mmØ x 450mm long).

Pixel credenza and coffee table blend essential elements of digital design with careful craftsmanship. Discontinued Corian samples serve as colourful ‘pixels,’ forming on/off abstract and geometric patterns over sustainably sourced birch ply. Upcycling old colour samples, Watson has used a strong and non-porous material to create a sleek, easy-care, and colourful table top finish. The series includes the ‘Pixel’ coffee table (490mm x 875mm x 875mm) and the ‘Pixel’ credenza (H710mm x D440mm x W1580mm).

Newspaper light is constructed from old newspapers using a papier-maché technique with either a white painted or metallic internal finish. The 63cm x 35cm ceiling-hung lamp has a rise and fall function, and optimises new ultra energy-saving high brightness LEDs using remote phosphor technology. The “Newspaper light” reprises the theme of Jay Watson’s earlier created “Read -All -About-It” stool, made from 100% recycled newspaper. The light is designed to be robust, and is treated with a fire-safe coating.
