Kingspan’s UK sales director Phil Smith received the certificate from Alan Thomas, sales & marketing director of the BBA.

The Kingzip system successfully integrates the company’s insulated roof panel technology with advanced standing seam construction techniques.

A BBA Agrément Certificate provides independent verification of Kingzip’s performance, including fire resistance and durability.

The BBA tested for durability and found that the panels have a minimum service life of 40 years in rural and suburban environments and 25 years in more aggressive areas such as severe industrial or coastal environments.

Simon Dick, Kingspan’s Kingzip areas sales manager says: “The approval of Kingzip by the BBA is great testament to the panel, and underpins the superior performance of the only composite standing seam panel system on the market. To have the independent accreditation of the industry’s governing body for standards and quality associated with Kingzip confirms the outstanding performance Kingzip provides in thermal, structural, fire and airtight performance. We are pleased to have received this certificate.”
