The expansion will add 32 new private patient rooms to the facility, making the total number of rooms to 159.
A closed nursing home is being converted to house a rehabilitation office, administrative offices and new patient rooms.
The third floor will house conference area, education space and a reception including a private office for consultation with doctors.
The private rooms will have soft color schemes to add to the healing environment. The rooms will also have private bathrooms attached and will feature advanced technology such as reverse air isolation to reduce spread of infections.
