The new office is a 14,000 square feet building, which is located on Russell Ranch Road in Westlake Village. The building accommodates a high-tech training room for more than 60 people, a Green Room and a think-tank space. The office space currently accommodates 190 agents.
Lifestyles’s scope of work involved complete fit-out of interiors, which consisted of carpeting, wood flooring, a reception area, built-in office spaces, countertops, lighting, furniture, fabrics, plants, artwork, and exposed ceilings. The work was completed in a span of five weeks.
The ceiling of the building has been left exposed at many places to create an edgy Westside New York feel. It feature tinted pipes, air ducts and venting, which have been done up in warm chocolate brown colour. The building has several open areas for groupings of workstations. These areas have been designed to offer a specialised look and have a pop-like appeal.
Throughout the building, the designer has used dark wood and contrasted it with grayish wood laminate floor and slate countertops, which resonate with the image of Keller Williams’ brand. Further synchronisation with the brand has been achieved by means of red laminate countertop in the kitchen.
