The company has opened a model home for a four-bedroom house and a two-bedroom house. The upper floor of the homes will have the sleeping quarters, while the remaining space will be distributed across the house.

The homes will incorporate many features, which will bring about energy saving. The bedrooms of the four-bedroom house will have a French/African styled décor and will feature antique mirrored furniture and Bedouin drapes.

The homes will have a geology and nature theme, and will feature velvets and silks, leaf and floral prints. The units will be done up in stones/ natural tones, which will be highlighted in a tint of deep scarlet red. The wallpapers to be used in the homes will be textured with glass beads depicting a bark and tree motif.

The two-bedroom model homes will don an interior in a vibrant mix of turquoise and chartreuse, lending a contemporary feel. The new homes are expected to be ready for moving in by 2013.

Milbury Reach development will offer a total of 104 new residential units, which will be a mix of one- and two-bed apartments and two-, three- and four-bedroom homes. The new homes will be provided with new cycle paths and recreational areas.
