The Fairfield Inn & Suites Detroit Livonia hotel is located at 17350 Fox Drive, off I-275, near Ann Arbor, in Farmington Hills. The renovation was aimed at upgrading the four-storey hotel to bring it in-line with standards of Marriott-branded hotel.
The renovation has added a new business centre with two Connect & Print machines, as well as The Corner Market, which offers snacks, drinks, and frozen meals; and a hospitality room, which will be used for Manager’s Receptions and double as small meeting space. The hospitality room features two large screen TVs and has seating for 20.
The project has also increased the guestroom portfolio of the hotel with 10 executive king suites, which are complete with a separate bedroom area with a sofa bed, two 32″ flat-panel TVs, refrigerator and microwave. All the remaining guest rooms have been totally renovated with all new furnishings, carpet, wall vinyl, marble sinks and 32-inch flat screen TVs. The guestrooms of the hotel are also marked by spacious layout featuring comfortable beds, down comforters, and sound proof windows.
The project has expanded the area of the hotel’s breakfast area, which has led to the increase in the seating capacity by two folds. The project has also redeveloped the meeting space of the hotel. The hotel also includes an indoor heated pool, and a round-the-clock fitness center with Precor Club Quality equipment, free weights, and a workout bench.
