Lurssen unveiled the new Phoenix 2 ahead of schedule.The new yacht project involved the same team who developed the 60 meter Phoenix in 2004. The team includes Andrew Winch Designs, Moran Yacht & Ship and the Lürssen shipyard.
Although the new superyacht design maintains and retains the fundamental nature of the original yacht, it is complemented with many enhanced features and amenities.
UK-based design studio Andrew Winch Designs has incorporated graceful lines that are complemented by more than 100 meters of uniquely shaped polished stainless steel handrails. The sundeck is designed to accommodate spacious swimming pool with separate Jacuzzi and an exterior cinema. The sky lounge opens out to an inside/outside dining area. This space is equipped with glass screens offering a transparent and enhanced aesthetic appearance.
The superyacht Phoenix 2’s other aesthetic elements are the use of New York 1930’s era-inspired furnishings, fabrics and furniture. The yacht features an attractive full beam deco duplex apartment for the owner’s suite with views of sea. A private staircase is integrated to link the two floors with a private foredeck furnished with Jacuzzi ensuring exterior privacy.
