Ed Calabrese, the creative director and senior associate of Mancini has announced that the firm will design the renovation of Roosevelt Field store of Bloomingdale which run 40 stores across the US. Mancini’s team reports to Jack Hruska, executive vice president, creative services of Bloomingdale.
The design of this store would be in consonance with the merchandising and design concepts of the 59th street flagship and newer facilities at Chevy Chase and San Francisco. This would help in strengthening Bloomingdale’s brand image.
The 300,000 square feet store would be located in an airfield which closed in 1951 once the final phase of the work gets completed within the next three months.
