The renovation project includes the creation of the state-of-the-art angiography, post-anesthesia care and hybrid suites.
As a part of the renovation, the project will also enhance the main entrance to provide a more welcoming, age-appropriate environment featuring interactive entertainment for young patients.
The refurbishment scheme also involve infilling an existing “landlocked” atrium at the second and third floor levels. It will construct a cantilevered steel frame structure to provide additional space.
The new facilities are due to be completed in early 2014.
