Designed by the French architect Jean Nouvel and Barcelona-based Ribas & Ribas architectural firm, the new hotel comprises 357 guest rooms. The guestrooms are well-lighted, airy and comfortable featuring leaf-shaped lighting and modern amenities. Offering 1200 square feet across 11 flexible well-equipped rooms, the hotel features dedicated meeting and event space across 27 floors.
Located in Plaza Europa, the bold and original design of the Renaissance Barcelona Fira hotel comprises two, 110m towers joined at the top by a panoramic restaurant and terrace vantage point. It features a monochrome façade glamourising the design of the hotel. Featuring a vertical garden of 300 palm trees and natural vegetation originating from five continents, it creates a natural aesthetic in the urban landscape.
Creating a natural and tranquil atmosphere, the Renaissance Barcelona Fira hotel features vegetation across the corridors and atrium. The hotel also features three restaurants and bars to provide an upscale dining experience to its guests. In addition to that, the hotel also offers a rooftop pool, indoor pool, fitness area and solarium for leisure and relaxation.
The Renaissance Barcelona Fira Hotel has opened in Barcelona under a franchise agreement with Barcelona-based hospitality company Hoteles Catalonia.
