Said to be Dubai’s first world-class convention and business destination hotel, the new JW Marriott Marquis Hotel is 355 metres tall, which is only 26 metres short of the Empire State Building in New York.

To cater to myriad tastes as well as providing cutting-edge business facilities to the guests, the 72-floor hotel features 684 rooms and 120 suites. All the guest rooms with 32-inch wide opening are equipped with LCD TVs, iPod stations, wireless internet and master room control tablet.

It features 24 meeting rooms comprising 55,488 square feet of total meeting space including outdoor terraces and one concierge level. In addition to that it also features two lounges, state-of-the-art fitness centre, nine restaurants, five bars, swimming pool, spa and on-site parking and valet parking for the guests.

The hotel has opened in several phases. Its first tower of 804 rooms and suites is in the soft opening phase, with three of the final nine restaurants opened on 12 November 2012. All nine restaurants, five bars and lounges will be opened by January 2013 with the grand opening scheduled to take place in February 2013.
