Designed by GH2 Hospitality Architects, the renovation involves redevelopment of the lobby of the hotel, which will feature a restaurant day bar, convertible into a full cocktail bar in the evening.
The reinvented lobby will have an open layout and will be marked by communal tables and gathering spaces for working and socialising. The redesigned lobby will be developed using an assortment of materials, which will add a modern touch and appeal to the space.
The hotel will also receive a new restaurant, Tallgrass Grille, which will feature bar and private dining area. The design of the restaurant will mimic Oklahoma’s revered Tallgrass Prairie Reserve. The design of the lobby will reveal an inspiration from the revered Art Deco influences of Tulsa and refers to the oil industry background of the city.
Work on the scheme is scheduled to begin on 16 July 2012 and is slated for completion in early 2013. Construction on the scheme will be undertaken by Crossland Construction Company.
