May Design Series is delighted to welcome furniture retailer Heal’s to the Fabric Pavilion, where the long awaited collection of the store’s own brand of fabrics, named 1810 after the year that the store was founded, will be on display to trade buyers. Heal’s will be showcasing three designs including Trees by Cressida Bell, a highly decorative design depicting lush forestry in a style heavily influenced by 1930-40s trends, and Stripe series by Paul Vogel; two striped fabrics that incorporate creativity with a contemporary approach to colour, both of which were influenced by the photography of Miles Aldridge and illustrations by David McKee. Pia Benham, Head of Fabric Design at Heal’s commented: ‘Building on our heritage of working with and promoting emerging and established designers, our 10 exclusive designs celebrate colour and individuality. This is the first textile collection that we’ve developed since the 1970s, and we’re thrilled to be exhibiting in the Fabric Pavilion.’
