As part of the multi-million-dollar renovation, the mall is planning for new ceilings and skylights, new carpeting and porcelain tile flooring, revamped public restrooms and the addition of a family restroom.
The project will also include energy-efficient lighting, heating and cooling, a redesigned food court, a fresh, contemporary design for mall entrances and signage, new landscaping, upgraded soft-seating areas and other customer amenities. In addition, a new Meadowbrook Mall logo will be unveiled later this year.
Majority of the work will take place in the overnight hours, when the mall is usually closed for business. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of October 2013.
The Meadowbrook Mall Complex has been serving the people of the Bridgeport/Clarksburg area since 1982.
