Mawok is designed to be a flexible cradle with functions based on the positive characteristics of vertical rocking. Unlike traditional cradles, Mawok hammock soothes baby by rocking up and down, rather than side-to-side. Mawok hammock is designed to be used in a permanent or temporary position. This small hammock weighs only three kilos and fits into a bag.

Two modes of suspension are offered, one permanent which is attached to the wall, and one mobile which is simply hung over a door. The hammock can be easily and quickly alternated between the two modes of suspension.

Mawok uses two springs made out of 2mm steel with a length of 24cm each. When the child is small, the hammock can be supported with one metal spring. As the child grows, this is increased to two springs. As an extra precaution, a safety cord is also included.

Mawok is developed by the Swedish entrepreneurial company Mony, which is operated and owned by Monica and Anders Landberg. The company develops innovative products with sound qualities aimed at improving babies life situations as well as facilitating parents daily lives. The vision behind Mawok is to solve problems related to sleep during babies’ first year.
