The 2013 collection is a result of collaboration between Morelato and few prominent architects such as Ugo La Pietra, Giuseppe Viganò and Maurizio Duranti.

Featuring slim and harmonious shapes, Giano is a new cabinet designed by Ugo La Pietra. The geometric structure is linear and minimal, and allows the user to place it in any room of the house, ideal in the lobby as well as in the living area. It is made entirely of wood “zebrano”. Janus has a door with the special “wave” surface. The inner part has three practical shelves and can be customised with lacquers of different colours. Its dimensions include: L35, 5 P36 H150cm.

Architect Giuseppe Viganò collaborated with Morelato in the past the new bed dubbed, ‘Magic Dream.’ Featuring essential design and distinctive style, the model fits easily in both metropolitan and classic environments. With a walnut frame, the tables are equipped with practical drawers and integrated to the head, made with strips aligned to create a geometric shape of small squares as “frame” of the bed. The bed is available with support for the mattress in beech strips. Dimensions of the bed include: L275 P214 H80, 5cm.

Bon Ton table is made entirely of wood ash by Maurizio Duranti for Morelato. The legs of the table feature a particular shape cue with the inner section of the plan declinable in different colours. A visual impact, an essential style and minimalist design make Bon Ton the suitable companion for dinners with family or friends. Its dimensions include: L110 P211 H76cm.

Swivel chair designed by Maurizio Duranti takes its name from the “famous” table Carambola, already designed by the same architect at the Salone del Mobile 2012. The chair is made of ash wood stained. The backrest has a shape in a semicircle, as well as the session, which guarantees maximum comfort. Both are upholstered in soft leather, and are available in a wide range of colours.

The new chair Carambola is suitable for the home and office. It is available in two versions with a swivel wheel base metal variable position and four turned legs in cherry wood, wenge and maple.

Morelato will also introduce the new Buffet Zero line with the special processing effect “wave” affixed to the front. The cabinet is made entirely of walnut, has two side doors swing in the core and three practical drawers. The base is available with a four-foot steel support. The new buffet Zero combines elegance, style and design. Its dimensions include: L206 D53 H88, 5cm.

The 2013 Salone del Mobile will be held from 9-14 April.
