The Dallas Decorative Center showroom was designed by PageSoutherlandPage. The showroom used low-emission and highly recyclable adhesives, paint coatings, composites and sealants. The high use of recyclable material in building the showroom enabled 75% of the construction waste to be recycled, thereby diverting such wastes from reaching landfills.
The showroom’s design permits exploitation of natural light and outdoor views over 90% of its area. The efficient lighting of the showroom, in comparison with standard lighting, reduces energy consumption by almost 53%. The showroom uses low-flow fixtures that reduce the consumption of water by almost 35%.
With the addition of Dallas showroom, the number of LEED certified showrooms of the company reached six. In addition to the LEED certification, the Escalade case goods series of the company also received SCS Indoor Advantage level 3 certification as it now features the proprietary water-based UV finish, IntegraClear.
