The new material was inspired by the bold modern lines of the Art Deco era, the collection interlays a 1 1/4 inch strip of wood and hemp that are hand-laid on a fine paper backing to create chevron that would be fit on the walls. The new material is available in a range of five sophisticated colors.
The company has already completed a project with David Collins which involved design for public areas in a London hotel, but these materials will also work in office and residential areas.
Architectural Textiles would be showcasing their collection at Decorex International in September this year.
