The 690,000 square feet project will feature a 364,000 square feet eight storey inpatient department with 360 beds and a 298,000 square feet five storey support services building.
The new facility will incorporate new digital technologies like computerized patient rooms to monitor patients, convert rooms to intensive care units, and use electronic medical records.
The exterior of the building will sport a green look to add on to the healing process. The campus will have ponds, fountains, landscaped areas, and walkways leading through the campus gardens. The natural wetlands will also be preserved to enhance the campus environment.
The project is expected to reach completion in 2011.
