Infused with sophisticated interiors, the new Shang Garden Bar is an extension to the Shang Garden, and offers the same relaxed Oriental elegance and modern edge, which the restaurant is noted for.

The interior of the bar dons the Asian aesthetic appeal with Western comfort. The striking contrast of east and west renders a unique appeal to the space. Accents of Oriental flair are resonant throughout the bar.

The barstools feature sleek silver geometric legs, which draws inspiration from the angles on the Chinese-style screen panels on the bar’s feature wall. The entire space has been done up in monochromatic shades of sand, silver and black, which are punctuated with shades of cinnabar red, and are presented in the form of contemporary installation artworks, giving an Asian feel to the space. The outdoor patio, which is just an extension of the bar features two community tables.

A set of choices for the food at the new bar is anchored by a series of 11 signature cocktails, which hints of an inspiration from the Huaiyang cuisine. The cocktails are interpretations of classics, cult hits and old favorites; blends of whimsical flavors of premium spirits; and home-made infusions accented with notable Asian ingredients.

The Shang Garden Bar will officially open to the customers on 14 June 2013.
