Designed in collaboration with Be a Malevich, a Spain-based company, the new Box 1-7 consists of seven boxes of different sizes that hang on wall from a single nail. The boxes are hung by means of nylon or natural leather ropes, which vary in length.
The size variation of the boxes and length of ropes allows the multiple arrangement scheme for these wall shelves. This gives a different meaning to the space where it is installed and allows easy and convenient changes in layout. The new wall unit also doubles as wall art.
The boxes are made of MDF and are laminated. The modular shelves are easy to assemble and dismantle. The dismantled unit takes up less than 10 cubic inches, which makes its transportation very easy.
