Newmor Wallcoverings has launched four new designs: Eri Silk, Eri Stripe, Savlamar and Tatami.
The products align with the company’s 2025 trend, ‘Fair Isle’, which focuses on artisan values and natural textures.
Eri Silk is derived from India and is known as peace silk, as the moths are not harmed during production. It features a coarse texture and a horizontal pattern. Eri Silk is available in 20 colours, including amber, ruby and deep amethyst.
Eri Stripe complements Eri Silk with painterly lines and metallic accents, reflecting the style of hand-painted silks. It is offered in six colourways that coordinate with Eri Silk, featuring teal, dark chocolate, and deep amethyst with subtle metallic stripes.
Savlamar, inspired by Savanna-la-Mar in Jamaica, showcases a blend of colours and textures that represent the island’s cultural diversity. It is available in six colours, including spice and purple sea moss.
Tatami draws inspiration from traditional Japanese tatami mat rooms, emphasising simplicity and reflection. It features a soft neutral palette and woven textures. Tatami is available in five colours.
Eri Silk, Eri Stripe, and Savlamar contain 20% recycled content. All designs are Type II non-woven, intended for sustainable use in hospitality and commercial sectors.
‘Each new design is rooted in craft and storytelling from around the world, reflecting how design can connect, uplift and inspire,’ said Rose Campbell, head of design and marketing at Newmor.
‘I’m super proud of my mixed heritage; there’s no doubt that being part Jamaican, Italian and Kittitian has influenced me as a designer. I get to celebrate the richness of cultural diversity through my work, which is something that means a great deal to me.’
Campbell continued: ‘Our Fair Isle trend celebrates craft and connection, whether it’s from the UK’s most remote communities or cultures across the globe.’
