The facility has been designed by international architecture company RMJM and developed by Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company. It measures 160 metres in height and encompasses 35 floors while bending 18 degrees towards the west.

The tower comprises office area covering about 15,000 square metres. It will also soon accommodate the five-star Hyatt Capital Gate hotel featuring luxurious rooms, modern interior décor, and contemporary dining areas. Among the other features incorporated in the hotel include sky lobby cantilevers positioned 80 metres above ground and a lounge and swimming pool, all of which allow views of the city.

The building’s facade is made of glass and steel with a stainless steel splash running up the structure. The steel splash serves as a solar shading and creates a canopy which offers shade to the Grandstand to shelter people during outdoor events.

The interior of the tower sports a free form atrium. The atrium is covered with a glass roof which allows optimum penetration of natural light inside. The exterior of the building is equipped with energy-efficient and low polluting lighting fixtures.
