The on-site ceremony unveiled the new modern premises of the hotel, while offering a tour of the newly furbished guestrooms. The hotel features the new ‘Phoenix’ prototype design, which includes modern interiors, European boutique-style guestroom integrated with 32 inch flat-screen TVs, wood-effect laminate flooring, and granite bathroom countertops.

Bright accent colors, ambient lighting, and a pedestal bed complement the modern guestroom. These have also been integrated with a multi-media panel featuring A/V plug-ins for mp3 players, video game systems and laptop computers with Wi-Fi internet access and a settee/banquette area for two.

The hotel has also been refurbished with environment friendly features, as per which the hotel now uses energy management practices including the disposal of hazardous waste with a Fluorescent Light Bulb and Battery Recycling Program.

Low flow aerators in faucets and showers reduce the water consumption, while the new wood-effect laminate flooring uses 80% of pre-consumer recycled material. The hotel was initially opened in March 2008.
