British flooring manufacturer Amtico has introduced nine new floor designs to Designers’ Choice, its luxury vinyl tile (LVT) collection.
The new designs reflect three macro trends: Restorative Spaces, Soft Utilitarian, and Nostalgic Reset. Designers’ Choice combines precision cut laying patterns with Woods, Stones, Colours, and Abstracts from the Signature collection, influenced by research into colour, material mix, and spatial trends.
‘Designers’ Choice distils months of research into palettes and combinations that are balanced, beautiful and instantly usable,’ says Sarah Escott, design manager at Amtico. ‘This year, we’ve leaned into the emerging trends for Restorative Spaces, Soft Utilitarian and Nostalgic Reset, blending Woods, Stones and even Burnished Metals to give specifiers and designers impactful floors in an easy, “off-the-rack” solution.’
Nostalgic Reset is represented by designs such as DC633 Lune Small, featuring Packwood Stone and red wine-hued Stucco Roselle. DC630 offers oversized Tay Oak squares with a gold stripping border. DC629 presents a two-tone Bordeaux Oak and Buxton Oak design. DC631 features a black and white Check in Bianca Classic Marble and Nero Classic Marble. DC635 showcases a Small Parquet laying pattern in five tones, including Wharncliffe Oak and Rotterdam Oak.
Soft Utilitarian is evident in DC632, which combines Russet Burnished Metal and Darley Oak. DC636 presents a five-Wood design in Large Parquet for social spaces.
Restorative Spaces is illustrated by DC637, which features Large Parquet in five Stones. DC634 offers a Small Parquet in a blend of Clowes Oak, Buckingham Oak, and Wharncliffe Oak.
